CSIR UGC NET July 2024 Results: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the results for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET July 2024 examination. The scores, which determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowships, Assistant Professorships, and PhD admissions, are now accessible on the NTA’s dedicated website.
The CSIR-UGC NET was held between 25 and 27 July 2024 in a Computer Based Test (CBT) format.The examination covered five subjects and was conducted across 348 centres in 187 cities throughout India. The subjects included Earth Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Chemical Sciences. The total number of candidates registered was 225,335, with 163,529 actually appearing for the test.
Examination Details and Procedure
The test was administered in multiple shifts over the three days. For instance, on 25 July, the examination for Earth Sciences and Physical Sciences saw 8,127 and 35,721 registrations, respectively, with 5,171 and 25,075 candidates attending. The Mathematical Sciences paper on the same day had 40,795 registered and 29,118 appeared. On 26 July, Life Sciences was held in two shifts, with a combined total of 77,785 registrations and 67,850 candidates attending. Chemical Sciences concluded the exam on 27 July, with 50,009 registered and 36,315 appearing.
Following the examination, provisional answer keys and question papers, along with recorded responses, were made available on the NTA website from 9 to 11 August 2024. Candidates had the opportunity to challenge the provisional answers, and after expert verification, the finalised answer keys were used to score the exams.
Accessing the Results
Candidates can now view their scores by logging into the NTA website csirnet.nta.ac.in using their application number and date of birth. It is important to note that no physical scorecards will be dispatched by post or email. Candidates must download and print their scorecards from the website.
