GATE 2025 Registration Deadline Today, Exam in February

GATE 2025 registration deadline: The online registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2025) will close today, October 7, 2024. Candidates who have not yet applied can submit their applications along with a late fee until 11:59 PM via the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The regular registration period ended on October 3.
During the extended application period, the fee is Rs 1,400 for SC, ST, PwD, and female applicants, while for all other candidates, the fee is Rs 2,300.Applicants can register for up to two test papers. In the regular window, the application fee was Rs 900 for female, SC, ST, and PwD candidates, and Rs 1,800 for others.
The GATE 2025 exam is scheduled for February 1, 2, 15, and 16, with two shifts each day. The detailed paper-wise schedule and admit cards will be released at a later date.
GATE 2025 Registration: Eligibility
To apply for GATE 2025, candidates must have a degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities. Those currently in the third year or higher of their undergraduate programs are also eligible.

GATE 2025 Registration: Documents Required

  • A high-quality image of the candidate’s photograph.
  • A high-quality image of the candidate’s signature.
  • A scanned copy of the category certificate (SC/ST), if applicable, in PDF format.
  • A scanned copy of the PwD certificate, if applicable, in PDF format.
  • A scanned copy of the Dyslexia certificate, if applicable, in PDF format.
  • A scanned copy of a valid photo ID, such as Aadhar-UID (preferred), Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Driving License.
