JKPSC KAS Result 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has announced the final results for the Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2023. Overview of the KAS 2023 Recruitment Process
The recruitment for the KAS 2023 began with an initial notification issued on April 13, 2023, for 75 positions within various state departments. In response, an overwhelming 30,756 applicants registered for the Preliminary Examination held on October 15, 2023, of which 18,882 candidates attended. Following this stage, 2,144 candidates qualified for the Mains Examination.
The Mains Examination, conducted from March 26 to April 3, 2024, saw 1,296 candidates participate across centres in both Jammu and Srinagar. Based on a defined selection criterion, 274 candidates were shortlisted for the Personality Test, with 11 additional candidates permitted under court orders. This final interview round concluded with 71 candidates recommended for medical examination.
Final Selection Criteria and Cutoff
As per the guidelines established by the Commission, final selections were made based on aggregate scores from the Mains and Personality Test, with provisions under SRO-103 of 2018. The JKPSC has also emphasised that the results are provisional, subject to any pending court rulings affecting specific candidates.

For those who meet the final selection criteria, medical examinations will be conducted at designated medical centres in Srinagar or Jammu.
