UPSC NDA, CDS exam day guidelines for candidates:
These are some general guidelines that candidates should follow for the UPSC NDA and CDS exam II 2024:
- Candidates must carry a printout of their admit card along with a valid photo identity card to their examination center. The list of photo ID proofs is Aadhar Card/Voter Card/ PAN Card/ Passport/Driving License/School Photo ID/Any other photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government.
- Candidates should reach the examination centre at least 30 minutes before their reporting time
- Candidates should only use ‘Black Ball Point Pen’ to fill the OMR sheet
- Candidates are not allowed to carry mobile phones, pen drives, smart watches, or any other electronic devices to their examination center
- Valuable items and bags are not allowed inside the examination hall.
- Candidates can wear a watch inside the examination center but only an analog one. Smart and digital watches are not allowed inside the examination center.
- Candidates are required to carry their most recent passport size photograph along with other documents.
- Candidates found cheating or using unfair means during the exam will be disqualified immediately and might be prohibited from appearing in the exam.

UPSC NDA & CDS admit card: Steps to download
Candidates can follow these steps to download the UPSC NDA and CDS admit card 2024:
Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC, i.e., upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, under the ‘What’s new’ section, click on the links that reads:
- E-admit card: Combined Defence Services Examination (II) 2024
- E-Admit card: National Defence Academy and Navel Academy Examination (II) 2024
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Enter the asked credentials, i.e., your registration ID or roll number and click on submit.
Step 5: Your UPSC admit card will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Check the details, download it and take a printout of it for future reference.
